Have you ever wanted to believe God and just not been sure? Maybe you've prayed and felt like nothing happened. Maybe you believe God is good, but what you're walking through doesn't feel good at all.

The people with the strongest faith have usually had their share of doubts. The difference is they didn't walk away.

"Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see" (Hebrews 11:1, NLT). Faith means trusting God when you can't see the whole picture, and on some days that trust will look like nothing more than a next step. You might not feel like forgiving the person who hurt you, but you forgive them anyway. You might not feel like praying, but you still choose to. Your feelings may not be on board yet. You can still decide where you'll put your trust.

Ask yourself today—and every day moving forward: What's one thing I would do if I really believed God was with me? Then go do it. Your faith doesn't have to feel strong for you to take a strong step.

Pray: God, I want to trust you even when I can't see what you're doing. Show me the one step you're asking me to take today, and give me the courage to take it whether I feel ready or not. Amen.
