David had just gathered an enormous offering for the temple—gold, silver, everything needed to build it. And in the middle of that generous moment, he prays a strangely humble prayer: who am I, that I could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us!
That's the whole point. Every yes you offer God, every gift, every open hand, all started with him. Your time, your abilities, your money, your very life—all of it came from God first. Generosity was never you giving God something out of your own supply. It's just returning what was always his to begin with.
Look back over where these last few weeks have taken you. A God on mission who pulls ordinary people into the story. Community you were built for. Boldness to speak up and to go. Transformation that reaches every corner of your life. Commitment that finishes the race.
You've spent these days reading, processing, and praying. This is the day you respond. It's the day you say, "Yes. I'll live with open hands. I'll go where you send me. I'll give what you ask.”
Say yes to the greater things God wants to do in you and through you. Then go live like you meant it.
Pray: God, here's my yes. To open hands. To going wherever you send me. To giving whatever you ask. Everything I have came from you anyway, so do the greater things you want to do in me and through me. I'm all in. Amen.
