Christmastime is busy! Between attending family functions, putting up decorations, and those last minutes presents, it can be easy to become distracted from preparing ourselves for the true meaning of Christmas.
As we approach Christmas, it’s important to remember the call to prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ. Just as Isaiah urged the people to clear a path for God, we are invited to examine our lives and identify any distractions keeping us from him.

Prayer: Dear God, help me to identify the things in my life that distract me from you. Give me the strength to clear a path in my heart for your presence as we prepare to celebrate the gift of Jesus. Amen.
