Work and career play a major role in the life of every man. Much of our adult life is focused on work, our job, our career. Many of us start out with great dreams of what our work will be. How many times were we asked, “What do you want to be when we grow up”? Then we grow up and go to work and get a job. How many of us truly understand the purpose of work? Why we work? We work to pay the bills and to get things done or have what we want. We work to obtain goals just to retire. In this Volume of 33 we will be challenged for a bigger vision of work, a vision that comes from God’s word that offers His perspective. This Volume begins by recognizing the obstacles and tensions that men can experience in our work-lives and then unfolds a process that helps men move beyond the conventional perspective of work that can lead to dead ends and frustration. It leads us to a bigger, biblical vision of work that goes back to God's original intentions.
