Bible Reading / Greater Things

Day 27 | Transformed to Serve

Read:

God didn't just rescue Paul from his old life; he remade him for a new one. Saul the persecutor became Paul the missionary.

The same is true for you. You're not only saved from something—you're made new for something. The Bible says you are God's masterpiece, created in Christ to do the good things God planned for you long ago. That means the greater things you were made for aren’t something you have to invent or drum up on your own. God prepared them ahead of time. You're just stepping into it.

You don't have to map out your whole purpose this week. You just have to be willing to show up, pay attention, and say yes when God nudges you toward the thing right in front of you.

The same God who turned a man hunting Christians into the one who carried the gospel across the world has made you new too. And he had greater things in mind when he did it. So don't wait for the whole plan before you take a step. Do the next thing God's put in front of you and trust that he's already there, working ahead of you.

Pray: God, thank you for not just rescuing me but remaking me—and for having a purpose in mind when you did. Show me the good things you prepared for me. I don't need the whole map right now. Just show me the next step, and give me the courage to take it. Amen.
